Remember they are JUST Names.....!

In every corporate or non-corporate structure, people (employees) usually come & go. Time keeps on passing this way ... Sometimes, you would see your company in a happy state and sometimes you would see it being mean/merciless/ungrateful (laying off people) state as it does not have money to afford big teams and it has to put their head down (small portfolio) in order to survive and avoid being vanish off from the competitive environment. 

Your colleagues' behavior will keep on changing all the time. Everybody has a nose in seeking first attention of the Supervisor so that they remain in their good books. If you're not worried about it, then its fine! but if this is changing.... your stance for the purpose of your existence in the organization (your career) is at stake.  As long as you will stay there like this, you will keep on suffering and become the victim of politics and inferiority complexes beyond imaginations with no hope of growth (A big question mark on your face). 

Now the question is, what you should do to get this off of you? 

Quitting is not an option, because it will make you more down, inferior, anxious and worried as you have no other choice and jobs are very hard to come by..... 

Making colleagues/co-workers to wonder all the time is a good remedy, by saying this I want you to Understand and Remember this that  "They are JUST NAMES for You". Always Remember, your colleagues are not your family (like the understanding of family in its real sense that you have in your head for  your wife, children, siblings and parents). An Office being called "a family" literally means a Group of People serving a common goal to make their employer happy (In terms of Profit making and Market Respect). Your interest should be to just remember names of the people who serve that common goal, for example: 

Mr. Tom (IT Department) can get your Outlook webmail / lotus notes fix...            

Mr. Dick (Accounts Department) can fix your accounts related issues....

Mr. Harry (Admin Department) can give you office supplies and all the other administrative stuff....

And

You (whether as Team Leader or Team Player) are a part associated with business entity like Tom, Dick and Harry to just serve and nothing else! A worker is a worker whether Peon or CEO!!
